A gentleman with a thick, non-English accent introduced himself as Sam with IBM (maybe IBN). He tried to speak slowly for better clarity on his part. His sales pitch was regarding telecom systems. He wanted to send me free information via my email address. He knew my name, my employer and my title, yet still had trouble understanding my email address.
He also wanted to transfer me to someone else for "quality monitoring" purposes. I told him know, I was working on an priority issue (told him twice) and needed to focus on it.
Basically I ended the call by hanging up on him.
